Sea Circus
Everybody needs a break now and then, so Nellie has taken off to Bali to sprawl in the sun, leaving me here alone in the rain!

On our recent trip to Sydney, Nellie introduced me to a few nice bars that I never thought I would see up there, not a pokie machine in sight!

High Tea at The Victoria Room, Sydney
Nellie & Me are sick and tired of waiting in line to have breakfast past 10am at all the great cafes in Melbourne.
So we headed up to Sydney over the weekend and decided to do High Tea at the Victoria Room in Darlinghurst. Seemed to be the more civilised thing to do.

Give a little!
Nellie and me were chatting the other day, trying to think of a great way to reward all of the people that visit our blog and listen to our ramblings. Nellie said “let’s give them all a hug”, but I thought that may be a bit tricky to figure out.

Deep Fried Chicken and Mystery Girls
Nellie and Me decided we would treat ourselves last night, as we have been working flat out!
We took the chance to go to Cookie in Melbourne for a nice meal. Nellie insisted on their deep fried chicken, which was delicious, but we needed to balance it out with a cos and herb salad as well.

Kate Spade - NYC
The Kate Spade window in New York is very cute this season, featuring one of our favourite outdoor toys – the pinwheel! Nellie said we should put pinwheels on our boots, but I said the studs are probably enough for now!

Nellie’s Dad hates tattoos – but we’re wondering if he would be OK with a temporary tattoo from Chanel. It seems that girls are going wild for them and it’s an easy, and cheap, way to get a taste of the brand (if you’re into that kind of thing). They come is packs with fifty-five different designs.

Tangerine Dream
While in New York, we found the world’s most beautifully coloured cocktail. Here’s a picture of Nellie behind this enormous glass of tangerine yummyness.

Fold over bag
What do you think about this fold over bag we saw on the Stockholm Street Style blog?

Frankie Magazine
Frankie Magazine is a permanent lunch room addition to the Nellie and Me workshop.
Nellie and I love reading it from cover to cover and look forward to each new edition. The website is very cool too, and check out their cute wallpapers.

Allie Bag
We are very pleased with our Allie bag.
It was inspired by an old school bag from the 1960s, found by one of our friends in Sydney. Thank goodness that his Dad hoarded all his old school paraphernalia in a box under the house, where grown up kids could laugh at school reports describing him as “pleasant but absent minded”.
